Recently, we were honoured to welcome the Honourable Minister of Industry and Commerce, Nqobizitha Mangaliso Ndhlovu, to our facilities in Mutare.
The visit included a tour of our operations and a meeting with our Managing Director, Shiraan Ahmed, where we shared some of our recent milestones and discussed the challenges businesses like ours face in Zimbabwe’s FMCG sector.
As a strong advocate for improving industrial standards and driving local manufacturing, Minister Ndhlovu’s visit was an important opportunity to reflect on the progress we’ve made. Over the years, we’ve invested in expanding our facilities, improving production efficiency, and ensuring that quality remains at the heart of everything we do.
The discussions also touched on challenges that businesses face, such as navigating rising costs, maintaining consistency in supply chains, and continuing to meet the growing demand for trusted products across the country.
We appreciated the opportunity to engage openly with Minister Ndhlovu and showcase how Mega Market is contributing to Zimbabwe’s economic growth. His interest in our operations reflects the importance of collaboration between government and businesses to tackle challenges and unlock opportunities for the future.
At Mega Market, we remain committed to raising standards, delivering quality, and playing our part in supporting Zimbabwe’s industrial growth.
